My name is Rishi Sharma. I am a student in computer science at Lasalle College, Montreal. I am 21 years old, and I love to explore the food a lot. I hail from India, which is known as the spice capital of the world. Leaving my hometown and studying abroad was not an easy task. I had a complete makeover about my life when I arrived in Canada in 2018. The most significant change was the food. At first, I did not know that Montreal has a variety of Indian restaurants and grocery stores. I was amazed and relieved after learning that. I am a huge foodie, and I like to try other cuisines along with my favourite, the Indian. I think the food that we eat defines our personality.

My Food Story
I belong to the land of five rivers, Punjab. Punjabis are usually known to be colossal food lovers. And yes, I am one of those. My food experience was limited to Punjabi cuisine before coming here to Montreal. When I started living with different cultures, I developed a curiosity in my mind to try those delicious dishes of other cuisines. My first exploration was a Mexican taco, and I remember that first bite. My love for that tacos is still there with me!
I like to make personal and food blogs a lot. I listen to music and watch thriller movies in my free time. Food exploration is one of my hobbies too. I think that food is the primary source to know more about the people, society, and culture worldwide.
